SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- mFoundry and Sprint announced a partnership to bring mFoundry's mobile technology to Sprint's customers, allowing them to perform banking from their cell phones.

Available to users of Sprint's Vision or Power Vision phones, the application creates a tightly controlled interface where customers can check bank balances, transfer funds between their accounts, make bill payments and more, with participating banks.

mFoundry is backed by Apax Partners, GRP Retail Partners and Ignition Partners.  Sprint is a publicly-held company.
